About Us

Several years back, the folks on the Great Pond side of the Village successfully put together a plan for community docks to allow boaters on the lake easy access to the Village. 

Well, it is our turn on Long Pond!

Thanks to generosity of Shoremaster Poly Docks,  Maine Dock & Lift Services, and our beloved Day’s Store, we have the chance to install a fabulous new community dock system that will allow Long Pond boaters access to the Village in numbers never seen before. To the left is both a a representative look (not to scale) and a technical drawing  of the new system that will be located off the “newly cleared” point behind Day’s – who have generously offered to serve as a permanent host for the community docks and take on annual maintenance of the system.
